ANSWERS

  •  We accept a wide variety of real estate donations, from residential homes and commercial buildings to vacant land, lots, and even mobile homes.
  •  Donating property to a charity like CMAC can come with significant tax advantages. Upon donation, you’ll receive a tax deduction based on the full appraised value of your property.
  •  If all papers are in order, and the title is clear of any issues, the real estate donation process typically takes between 3-6 weeks. That includes everything from property review to closing.
  • Yes, you may still be able to donate real estate even if the property has a mortgage, tax lien, or outstanding property taxes—but each situation is unique. We will review every real estate donation individually to determine what's possible.
